Vertical Leadership Development is a process of holistic psychological growth to later stages of adult maturity. Leaders with an open Synergist mindset in contrast to a growth Achievist mindset have been shown to be exponentially more effective leading transformative change, mergers and restructures, and industry evolution across the business ecosystem. It's only with this leadership capacity that executives are able to lean into VUCA and harness the winds of change to lead evolution.

3rd Generation Transformative Coaching is as big an advance on Developmental Coaching as the latter is on  Performance Coaching. It changes the structure of the coaching conversation from being a facilitator of development with clean open questions to holding an expansive space between the coach and executive in a mutual dialogical inquiry. This frees the coach to offer insights and knowhow leveraging their expertise, experience, and level of consciousness to nurture vertical leadership development to later stages of maturity.

In our research study, 20% of Executives shifted from a growth Achievist mindset to an open Synergist mindset in a single year, instead of the usual 5-6 years. The other 80% shifted to a curious Catalyst mindset (the intervening Stage) in the one year and went on to mature to Synergist shortly thereafter. In our experience since then, 90% of executives and coaches have realized the same results and some coaches have gone on to realize the later Alchemist mindset. Those who have not realized this success failed to implement the proven frameworks and techniques that enable this level of development. Leading by doing enables participants to embody the mature Synergist perspective in their leadership presence.

The StageSHIFT VIP Synergist Leadership Program and Coaching Certification are 12-month programs. They run from August and February each year across time zones.

There are two 4-month phases of intensive weekly activity involving 2-hours focused study or live coaching each week. These take place from February to May and from August to November. 

Preceding these are Vertical Assessments and each phase is followed by a 6 week Challenge to complete the most significant pieces of work.

No. The StageSHIFT approach. has been proven to be not only highly effective for CXOs, but for all divisional leaders where there are at least two levels of people reporting to you, and program leaders leading highly complex programs involving multiple stakeholders within and outside the organization. 

It is not suitable for leaders who are responsible for driving projects and operating results, and do not have strategic leadership responsibilities. They can be really successful in their roles with a growth Achievist mindset.

No. The Program takes a systemic cascading approach from wherever you are in the organization to empower others, uplift their accountability, and generate collaborative outcomes with all stakeholders. 

While it includes transformative change, it builds on current structures and policies to liberate human potential without needing to change what is. We call this the orange light zone where you do not need to ask permission but can simply lead by example to generate much better outcomes.
