A Proven Pathway & Scalable Solution

In her PhD research, Dr Antoinette Braks explored the efficacy of a unique Transformative Coaching approach to enable Vertical Development to the open Synergist Mindset that underpins the leadership capacity of Systemic Adaptive Generative Leaders. 80% of Senior Executives starting out with a >80% Conventional Mindset shifted a full Stage to Catalyst at early 4th Perspective, and the other 20% shifted through to Synergist in a single year.

These outcomes were extraordinary. They were in direct contrast to the common expert opinion that it takes 5-6 years to develop to Synergist with a Coach at least at that Stage of Maturity.  StageSHIFT enables most Executive Leaders to shift to a Synergist mindset within 1-2 years. In client organisations, the Leadership Effectiveness of 75 leaders doubled in 2-years; People Engagement in a 1000-person org. doubled in 6-months; and Business Revenues for a 50-person trading company doubled 3-months following a StageSHIFT implementation.

8 key drivers were distilled from the thematic analysis of >100,000 words documenting the content of the coaching conversations in the research study. They cover all four Quadrants above in a particular sequence integrating Self and System, Awareness and Application. StageSHIFT partners with Executive Leaders to generate an upgrade in their Inner and Outer Operating Systems simultaneously. Our approach accelerates organic Adult Leadership Development to the higher level of consciousness essential to master systemic complexity.

Hi, I'm Antoinette Braks,

Founder of StageSHIFT.

I'm a Master Executive Coach with over 8,000 hours of Individual, Group and Team Coaching Experience with Senior Executives, Teams, and Executive Coaches following a 30-year global corporate career including leadership roles with Shell and Korn Ferry.

I hold a PhD in Leadership Psychology and Transformative Coaching and an MA in Management Research from Macquarie University, an MBA from London Business School, Advanced Coaching Supervision from Oxford Brookes University, a Dip Intl Mktg (Hons), LLB(Hons) and BA from the University of Auckland.

I’ve been working explicitly in Vertical Holistic Leadership Development and Systemic Organisational Development for over 30 years. My research findings are published in the academic articles below and in my book: Executive Coaching in Strategic Holistic Leadership (McGraw Hill 2020). I was incredibly honoured to receive the CEO Award for Leadership Coaching in 2020.

My career has always been important to me. I’ve been a bit of a crusader. This has enabled me to excel and also got me into hot water from time to time. I've learned how to bridge opportunity with reality in the deeply transformative systemic work we do. I'm focused on becoming more patiently aspirational, gently provocative, and humbly tenacious.
