THE FOUNDATIONS OF VERTICAL EVOLUTION
This Program introduces you to the vast richness of VHLD and the StageSHIFT approach to inspiring and accelerating the journey to mature Synergist. It provides you with both a political and topographical map of the terrain so you gain an understanding of how we can realize our intrinsic human potential.
Each of the 3 parts includes comprehensive 20p RADAR notes and inquiry for you, outlined by videos, to familiarize yourself with the content. They are each followed by a Live Group Discovery Dialogue to articulate and integrate your understanding.
RADAR is our proprietary Vertical Learning Methodology for each element: Review & Reflection; Awareness & Attention; Discovery Dialogue; Assignments & Application; Results & Revelation.
You can undertake the VHLP Self-Assessment at any time during this Program and book a 90-min Discovery Debrief with Dr Antoinette Braks to ascertain the texture of your current journey and set resonant aspirations to inspire and inform your continuing psychological, emotional, and spiritual development.
This Program is a pre/co-requisite of the StageSHIFT Vertical Transformative Coaching Certification Program. The next one follows this Program running from May to December 2023.
#1 THE PSYCHOLOGY OF VERTICAL DEVELOPMENT
We provide you with a brief history of the Lines and Levels in VHLD including Motives, Means, Morals, Memes, and Mind. We outline the sequence of Stages, Perspectives, and Tiers that illuminate the 2-Step Square Dance. It offers a view of the pivotal point in our current evolution.
#2 THE STRUCTURE OF VERTICAL DEVELOPMENT
This element explores the Holistic Spectrum StageSHIFT, and interconnects the Human Faculties of Self-Expression and the Energy Fields of our Conscious Life Experience in the StageSHIFT Holistic Energy Operating System. We review the evolving organizational context.
#3 THE NATURE OF VERTICAL DEVELOPMENT
We share the StageSHIFT Research Findings in terms of the Integral AQAL Pathway providing the Systemic and Spiritual context for VHLD. We set out the 8 Drivers, 3 Principles, and 5 Active Ingredients in Vertical Transformative Coaching, concluding with the mythic spiral Hero's Journey.
#4. VERTICAL HOLISTIC LEADERSHIP PROFILE
We invite you to undertake the Vertical Holistic Leadership Profile so you can gain a more granular understanding of executive leadership-in-action at the progressive Stages of Development. It's an automated, capability-based self-assessment instrument based on our VHLP Model incorporating:
- 6 Levels of Development from Specialist to Alchemist;
- 5 Leads in Development: Mindset, Motive, Meme, Means, and Mode;

#1 STRATEGY
This Module sets up the Systemic Strategic Scaffolding to facilitate your own and an executive leader’s aspirational Intent to build a more Conscious Sustainable Business e.g., how to re-imagine their place in the world, create a Visionary Purpose, a set of Evolutionary Values, and cascade Team EQUIP Scorecards to create an open expansive space for conscious vertical growth for all levels in the organization.
#2 SYNCHRONY
This Module explores the interweaving concepts of time and energy to significantly uplift the creative engagement of strategic leaders and their leadership teams. It flows into the development of a Dynamic Operating Rhythm that orchestrates engagement throughout the organization and includes Liberating Meeting Agendas to lift ingenuity and accountability.
#3 SERENITY
This Module focuses on our inner being, our mindset and moodset, in relation to positive psychology, emotional awareness, conscious mindfulness, neuroscience and wellbeing. It recommends more authentic and respectful forms of self-expression to revise and reframe our internal voices and default responses while building respectful relationships with others.
#4 SHADOW
This Module explains emotional triggers, transference, reactive patterns, and throw-away lines in the context of shadow resolution. While we’re aware of the different parts of the brain and the sabotaging effect of the amygdala, few transcend emotional resilience to resolve, heal, and eliminate the personal shadow at the source of the drama of our INTERACTIONS.
#5 STORY
This Module invites a Vertical Holistic Life Review to understand our history, redesign our identity, and shape a new destiny by reviewing, revising, and reframing our own narrative. It sets the context of storytelling for deeper more transformative meaning making, drawing on interpersonal, role and family dynamics, archetypes, and ancestral themes.
#6 STANDARDS
This Module invites the presence of leadership while engaging with others, for oneself and on behalf of the people we lead and partner with. The Synergist capacity to set and hold standards, boundaries and priorities creates psychological safety for self and others to uplift an organization’s culture and increase the level of conscious engagement and collaborative innovation.
#7 SIGNATORY
This Module inspires you to articulate your Voice to give the highest expression to your intrinsic purpose in life and business, and similarly, to guide your executive clients. We review the structure and tenor of presentations from Ted Talks to conferences. The 12 P’s of Living Signature Presentations enable you to create and share a living Masterpiece-in-Progress.
#8 SYNERGY
This Module completes the Program in the light of developing the prescience of inspiring Synergist Leadership. It extends strategic leadership to the wider community to proactively build a bigger audience and/or broader Stakeholder Collaborative Engagement to realize long-term uplifting sustainable outcomes across the surrounding business, social, and human ecosystem.
VERTICAL EVOLUTION
This StageSHIFT Vertical Transformative Coaching Certification Program has been running for over 5 years and there are more than 50 Certified Coaches. It is based on the research findings that led to strategic leaders evolving from high performing executive leaders at Achievist, to shift to Catalyst and embody the quantum leadership capacity of Synergist in just 1-2 years.
The Program enables Coaches to undertake their own evolutionary journey to mature Synergist, while gaining the VHLD expertise, StageSHIFT technology and personal experience to enable their executive clients to accelerate their journeys through your inspiration and guidance. It is based on the premise that this latent capacity is already present amongst leaders today yet is inhibited by the conventional structural norms found in most organizations. The Program integrates the expansion of consciousness with culture evolution.
You'll be able to confidently guide executive leaders on how to uplift their leadership capacity and their organization with proven strategic frameworks and collaborative engagement processes. The cascading effect of this technology raises the level of empowered accountability throughout the leader’s area of responsibility. This enables them to rise to their own potential, lead and sustain a culture evolution to Green/Teal, and, in time, lead the design and realization of healthier and more equitable socioeconomic ecosystems.
You’ll develop the confidence of a Transformative Coach moving beyond the limitations of the clean, open inquiry of Developmental Coaching. While valuable, the expanded consciousness of a calm, clear, open, more expansive mind, and new understanding of the subtle intricacies of the holistic Self and shadow psychodynamics, enables you to courageously guide your clients with deeper insights and revelations.
